Pastor Austin Britton was ordained and installed on November 11, 2012 as the next pastor of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
After graduating with a Master’s of Divinity degree in 2009 from Westminster Seminary in California, Pastor Britton served various churches as a pastoral intern. Believing that seminary gave him the tools for ministry, the various internships Pastor Britton served gave him the experience necessary to be a faithful minister in a local church.
He and his wife Rebecca and their three kids Isaiah (7 yrs. old), Alethea (5 yrs. old), and Micaiah (2 yrs. old) are now excited to call La Mirada home and Pastor Britton is thankful for the opportunity to serve the body of Christ at Calvary as their sixth pastor.
Pastor Britton has a passion to preach Christ and him crucified week in and week out, and he looks forward to seeing God’s people grow in grace and in number as the Holy Spirit works in and through the means of grace.
As a family, the Brittons great collective hobby is simply spending time with one another by taking hikes, going to parks, swimming, and using their imagination to create fun games around the home.
Pastor Britton’s hope is that the light of the gospel would shine brightly in southern California, and that many would take up their cross and follow after the Savior.
