Calvary’s small groups are the place where the elders at Calvary hope our congregation can truly be the church to one another, living life together for a season in supportive and intentional relationships. In these groups, the power of the Gospel can free us from the fear of being truly known and from the isolation of individualism, enabling us to participate fully in the church family both in times of blessing and difficulty.
Thus, the elders believe that a mid-week small group ministry is a biblical and effective way to encourage more of our members in their Christian walk. As a congregation, we hope a mid-week small group ministry can bring us closer to Christ and to one another, despite our distances.
Our groups form each fall, and continue to meet through the spring. Our small groups then take a break during the summers.
